(Mark Hofstede Collection)
This is the SS-Soldbuch of Albert Snijder who was a member of the Dutch-SS. The Soldbuch was with the soldier which he carried everywhere with him throughout his career. I have included a number of his pages from his Soldbuch (scroll down for more pages ).

Inside Cover - Identification Photo normally left is missing with his enlistment and Rank details (right).

Personal Information about the soldier is on Page 2 of his Soldbuch.

Page 4 contains his career information with postings in Holland and Breslau in the East. His family information is on the opposite page.

Interesting pages as page 28 shows that this soldier was wounded after the Battle of Arnhem and spent 20 days in hospital during October. Page 29 shows that he spent 6 days during the Battle of Arnhem in Close Combat. Due to this he was awarded the Infantry Assault Badge which the award document can be found here.
