(Heinz Ackermann Collection)
This is the Wehrpass of Heinz Ackermann who was a member of a Luftwaffe Signals Regiment. The Wehrpass was always stored with the administration section of his unit. He had a very interesting career and was taken prisoner by the Canadians in November 1944 and returned to Germany in 1946. See his story in the Veteran's Accounts section. Page 12 & 13 - Lists all the units Heinz Heinrich Ackermann was posted to with corresponding dates during the war.
Page 22 - His promotion record finishing the war as an Under-Officer. He was promoted to this rank just after the Battle of Arnhem.
