The owner of this Tunic was SS-Sturmbannführer H. Thöle who was the commander of SS-Wirtschafts-Battalion 9 'Hohenstaufen' during Tarnopol and Normandy. It is unclear if he was in Arnhem during the battle or he was already in Germany awaiting the Division for refitting. Current investigation regarding this point is underway and hopefully this section will be updated with the answer soon.
